msd – münster school of design

Since 1878, designers have been trained in Münster, Westphalia. So our department of design can look back on a long and good tradition. However, current demands on the design profession now go far beyond the former arts and crafts apprenticeship of a »drawing, painting and modelling school«.

We offer contemporary and future-oriented education within the Bachelor/Master system. Students acquire all the methodological, technical and design skills that will enable them to gain optimal professional experience: they are trained to become critically thinking designers.
