In times of climate change, the need for sustainable consumer behaviour is of increasing importance. How do we learn to behave sustainably? Who will teach us? Parents, media, the school? From a biological point of view, we are primarily influenced by the behaviour of our parents. Do they know what sustainable behaviour means? Each and every day the media provides us with new horror stories about climate change. Yet, is this supposed to wake us up or just scare us? At school we learn how to read, write and calculate. However, nobody there has ever told me anything about sustainability. Teachers still have serious problems integrating this very important topic into their lessons. »grow-me« is an app that playfully raises awareness for sustainable behaviour. It provides teachers with the opportunity to discuss the topic with their students at eye level. At this point, a creative exchange and an entertaining journey of discovery with several key moments begins.
