A Digital Exhibition about Work Culture and Generations
A masters thesis about work culture? For many people the very term »work« is associated with effort and overtime. In fact, only 16 percent of all employees are happy in their jobs and the word burnout is being used more than ever.
Where and especially how do we want to work? These are questions not only asked by design graduates. New generations are entering the job market, questioning previous concepts and approaches. Currently there are four generations working, which could not work and think more differently. Different opinions, points of view and expectations colliding.
Work culture shapes our everyday working life, defines the way we live together and is often highly emotional. Yet tension and conflicts can be enriching and valuable too. The debate is stimulating and presents an opportunity to develop oneself further.
When it comes to work culture, there is no medium able to reflect the far-reaching changes and the complexity of the working environment. However, an exhibition can provide the trigger. An impulse that allows learning, discussion and reflection.
